The EPA establish the Award in 2018 to recognize outstanding contributions to the advancement of the photochemical and photophysical sciences made by EPA members during the past ten years. This prize will be delivered every two years.

Call for nominations is CLOSED

Frequency: Biennial, odd years

Requisites: The candidate must be an EPA member at the time of nomination. The candidate must be under 40 years old at the time of nomination.

The nomination package should include:

  • Statement of research accomplishments
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • List of publications
  • List of oral communications in national and international conferences
  • List of research funding
  • Two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to the EPA President.

Award: The laureate is invited to send a perspective to PPS. Prize certificate. Talk at a large photochemistry conference in a plenary session.

Deadline for submission: 31.12. of even year

Timeline of the award: Announcement of the laureate in the spring. Award in the summer.

Award ceremony: At a large photochemistry conference in a plenary session.
